Standards of Fraternal Excellence Reports
The Standards of Fraternal Excellence (SOFE) is the annual accreditation report for each chapter in the community. Chapters are given minimum expectations in five categories: education, administration, academics, civic engagement, and excellence. As of Fall 2023, 92% of chapters are in good standing through SOFE!
About Our Councils & Chapters
Sorority and Fraternity Life started in Knoxville back in 1872 and we are home to 47 active chapters and 4 councils. Learn more about how each council serves different organizations and how each chapter provides a different experience. In September 2022, we celebrated 150 years of sorority and fraternity life on Rocky Top!
