9/9 – JCPenney Suit-Up

JCPenney is opening its doors exclusively for UT students, staff, faculty, and alumni! Attendees will receive a 40% off coupon for certain professional clothing. This discount can be layered on others. We encourage staff to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to buy business and business casual clothing at a steep discount. The event will take place from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at West Town Mall JCPenney – 7600 Kingston Pike.

 

9/11 – Lab To Life

This workshop will help you understand the importance of research as an experiential learning activity and how your research skills can be transferable to work in industry. The event will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Student Union – Phase 1, CCD 229.

 

9/12 – The Life Skills Series: Evaluating Offer Letters & Benefits

Evaluating Offer Letters and Benefits kicks off our first Life Skills Series of the year! In this session we will learn about the key areas to consider when you receive your first offer letter and the benefits package that comes with it. There are several factors you need to consider as you assess your offer because it needs to be a good fit for both parties involved. The event will take place from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Student Union – Phase 1, Center for Career Development Room 225.

 

9/19 – Career Conversation: Museums, Archives and Libraries

Join us for Career Conversation: Museums, Archives and Libraries, a panel event featuring individuals working in these fields. Explore career options, learn about how to break into the industry, and hear tips from insiders on gaining experience and securing jobs. Learn more about these careers via a facilitated panel discussion and open questions and answer session. This event is part of the Career Conversation series. The event will take place from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Student Union – Phase 1, Center for Career Development, Room 225

 

9/24 – Engineering/STEM Job & Internship Fair

The Engineering and STEM Job & Internship Fair is attended by organizations who are seeking students/alumni for full-time entry-level positions and/or internships. This fair is targeted for ALL Engineering majors, the Hard Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Technology focused areas, and Mathematics. The event will take place from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Thompson-Boling Assembly Center and Arena.

 

9/25 – Supply Chain Management Job & Internship Fair

The Supply Chain Management Job & Internship Fair is for organizations to recruit top talent for their respective supply chains. Supply Chain Management and related majors (Marketing, Business Analytics, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering) attend this event. The event will take place from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Thompson-Boling Assembly Center and Arena.

 

9/26 – Business/Retail/Government Job & Internship Fair

The Business, Retail and Government Job & Internship Fair is attended by organizations who are seeking students/alumni for full-time entry-level positions and/or internships. This fair is targeted for ALL Majors, Business majors and Retail/Hospitality. The event will take place from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Thompson-Boling Assembly Center and Arena.
