Phi Gamma Delta’s FIJI Festival

The brothers of Phi Gamma Delta and the sisters of Chi Omega joined together at FIJI Island on April 11th to put on the first annual FIJI Festival. Children from the Boys & Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley came out to the Island and played festival games, had their face painted, and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon with some members of the Greek community. It was fulfilling to see the children’s excitement as they played games, enjoyed snacks, and connected with this group of undergraduates. The event was a great success, and by the end of the day the director was excited for the possibility of making this an annual event. The brothers of Phi Gamma Delta and sisters of Chi Omega are extremely excited about making this a yearly tradition, and feel that FIJI Festival could grow into something much larger in the near future. They are excited to continue serving the children of the Knoxville area.
