Zeta’s Big Man on Campus

ZTA’s first annual Big Man On Campus (BMOC) was held on February 16 in AMB room 210. They ended up having 16 chapters participate, 10 fraternities and 6 sororities. BMOC consisted of think pink wear, an interview round and a lip sync battle. There was also a best legs competition, where a picture of a participating chapter member’s legs were on a jar and the jar with the highest amount of money in it won that category; Beta Theta Pi ended up winning Best Legs. There a Mr. Congeniality winner, which was the Alpha Gamma Rho representative – he had such a great attitude and put on such a fun show. The brother participating for Alpha Tau Omega was the overall Big Man On Campus winner, he was so much fun to watch and did such a great job the entire competition.
The money raised from Big Man On Campus directly goes to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, which focuses on breast cancer education and awareness. The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation is partnered with American Cancer Society, the National Football League and Bright Pink to raise education and awareness. Through participation fees, ticket sales and the best legs competition, the women of Zeta Tau Alpha ended up raising $2,718.41 for their philanthropy!
The ladies are so excited with how this event’s first year has gone and are so looking forward to how it is going to grow in the future.
