Circle of Sisterhood Week 2017

Circle of Sisterhood is a non-profit organization that the Panhellenic Community  collectively supports. The organization works to remove educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression. 13 members from our Panhellenic Community traveled to their first Circle of Sisterhood Trek in Malawi this past May to break ground on a brand new school. Attendees have created a video to share the life-changing experiences that they had on the Trek.

This year’s Circle of Sisterhood Week is taking place March 6th-9th with awareness and fundraising events all week including Panhellenic’s annual Greek Beat dance competition. When asked about plans for the upcoming Circle of Sisterhood Week, Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Service, Betsy Pierce was excited to report “we’ll be signing a letter of intent at Greek Beat, which is our binding contract and promise to Circle of Sisterhood to start funding a second school build. This is a big deal because this makes us the first Panhellenic community in the country to officially sign on for a second school build!! We’ll be pushing fundraising a lot during Circle of Sisterhood week to start off strong for this next school build!”
